This article describes how to enable (disable) shadowing of specific file or data types only while having any other file or data type shadowed (not shadowed).

COMMENTS

To selectively enable/disable shadowing of particular file or data types, use content-aware rules.

- Enable shadowing of a user/group actions for a device or a protocol;
- Create a content-aware rule for this user/group with the "Shadowing" option and selected devices/protocols;
- Check "Allow" flags to enable shadowing of specific file types only, or "Deny" flags to exclude this type of data from shadowing to get any information with this exception shadowed for the selected device/protocol.
