Various issues with various devices after the installation of DeviceLock

Experiencing issues with plug-and-play devices on DeviceLock controlled computers?

To diagnose the issue, we will need a PnP devices report and a a Permissions report generated for the problem computer.

We may also need DeviceLock Service Settings (.dls) file containing a set of permissions applied to the problem computer.

This article contains instructions on generating the above files and reports.

HOW-TO

Permissions report
Run DeviceLock Enterprise Manager console. In 'Scan' dialog, select the problem computer(s), then select 'Report Permissions/Auditing' plug-in (check all the flags except the "Report Available Devices Only" in the plug-in's settings). Once done, press 'Scan' button. Save the displayed data to a file of .anm format.

PnP Devices report
Run DeviceLock Enterprise Manager. In scan dialog, select the problem computer(s), then select 'Report PnP Devices' plug-in (you will need to check all flags in the plug-in's settings dialog).select problem machine from the list of Computers=> Scan. Save the displayed data to a file of .anm format.

DeviceLock Service Settings file
Run DeviceLock Management Console. Connect to the problem computer. When connected, right click the 'DeviceLock Service' node, select 'Save Settings', save them to a flie.
