Windows 7 clients not sending data to DeviceLock Enterprise Server

DESCRIPTION

DeviceLock Enterprise Server logs contain no information received from the client computers with Windows 7 OS installed, while Windows XP computers with the same data transfer configuration send their data successfully.

COMMENTS

Windows 7 computers can not authorize on a remote DeviceLock Enterprise Server system without changing local security policy in the way described in RECOMMENDATIONS.

RECOMMENDATIONS

The following changes must be made to Windows 7 local security policy:

Run Administrative Tools-> Local Security Policy->Local Policies->Security Options-> Network security:
Network security: Allow Local System to use computer identity for NTLM = Disabled
Network security: Allow LocalSystem NULL session fallback = Enabled
