A spontaneous BSoD, or a reboot, on a DeviceLock controlled computer when plugging in O2Micro Smart Card Reader
Whenever the DeviceLock Service is installed on a problem computer, the system either spontaneously terminates with a fatal error (BSoD), or restarts, depending on the configuration of the 'Startup and recovery' settings.
The O2Micro Smart Card Reader uses the "oz776.sys " driver which is unable to process a standard PnP request, leading to a system crash. Resolved in DeviceLock version 220.127.116.11843 by adding the O2Micro "oz776.sys " driver into the ignore list.
Upgrade to the latest version of DeviceLock (at least to version 18.104.22.16883 or higher).
