After unplugging a USB storage device and either plugging in another one, or replugging the same device, the system can not recognize the new device
Users that are allowed access on 'USB Port' and 'Removable' levels can only access their USB storage devices once a user session. After unplugging the device and either plugging in another one, or replugging the same device, Windows can not recognize the new device anymore. The device icon disappears from "My Computer Window", there is no access to this device as well as to any other USB storage device plugged later during the use session. The error message of 'Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because a previous instance of the device driver is still in memory.(Code 38)' appears in the Device Manager for the USB device marked with the exclamation mark.
This known problem caused by an unloading driver has been solved since DeviceLock version 184.108.40.206066.
Upgrade to the latest version of DeviceLock (at least, to version 220.127.116.11066).
