‘There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper (1753)’ error when connecting to DeviceLock Enterprise-, or DeviceLock Content Security Server via DeviceLock Management Console

DESCRIPTION

Connection to DeviceLock Enterprise-, or DeviceLock Content Security Server via DeviceLock Management Console fails with ‘There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper (1753)’ error.

COMMENTS

The error indicates that you are trying to connect to a computer, where DeviceLock Enterprise-, or DeviceLock Content Security Server is not running (either not installed, or stopped).

RECOMMENDATIONS

DeviceLock Enterprise-, or DeviceLock Content Security Server must be installed and started, so DeviceLock Management Console can connect to it. Check if  DeviceLock Enterprise-, or DeviceLock Content Security Server’s service (DLServer.exe/DLCSS.exe, respectively) are running on the computer you’re connecting to.

You can inspect this by connecting to DeviceLock Enterprise-, or a DeviceLock Content Security Server computer with ‘services.msc’ snap-in and by checking the status of the service .
