Looking for proper config to help my customers access their devices.

Removable HDDs (laptop bay)
Internal ZIP drive issue

Users with Internal ZIP and\or removable HDDs are getting "Access Denied" when attempting to access their devices.

DeviceLock 6.3 build 16192
Permisions set to
Hard Disk
Tape
Authenticated Users - Full access
Everyone - Full access
SYSTEM - Full access
USB - Full access

Any insight\guidance on this one would be greatly appreciated.

External harddisks belong to Removable since DeviceLock version 6.2

So, you should give Removable permissions for those users or add your external harddisks to white list.

That's part of the problem.

To open up removable media would be to open it for all devices. Including thumbdrives - which have been banned from within my company.

How can I open up the Removable ZIP drives w/o restoring thumbdrive access?

thumbdrives can be blocked on the USB port level...

With best wishes, Ashot.
