Looking for proper config to help my customers access their devices.
Removable HDDs (laptop bay) Internal ZIP drive issue Users with Internal ZIP and\or removable HDDs are getting "Access Denied" when attempting to access their devices. DeviceLock 6.3 build 16192 Permisions set to Hard Disk Tape Authenticated Users - Full access Everyone - Full access SYSTEM - Full access USB - Full access Any insight\guidance on this one would be greatly appreciated. //// ('?') |

External harddisks belong to Removable since DeviceLock version 6.2
So, you should give Removable permissions for those users or add your external harddisks to white list. |

That's part of the problem.
To open up removable media would be to open it for all devices. Including thumbdrives - which have been banned from within my company. How can I open up the Removable ZIP drives w/o restoring thumbdrive access? //// ('?') |
