I am having some problems communicating between DeviceLock Enterprise Manager and the workstations. The workstations are running Windows Vista and the server is running Windows 2008 DataCentre.

When I went to report the PnP Devices on any of the workstations I get a red cross and an error saying "Windows cannot find the network path. Verify that the network path is correct and the destination computer is not busy or turned off. If Windows still cannot find the network path, contact your administrator. (51)"

I am running the latest version of DeviceLock and I have allowed all network traffic on the firewall.

The Remote Registry Service is running and I have no problems viewing the permissions / auditing report.

If someone could advise me it would be much appreciated!!!

Thanks.

In order to retrieve PnP devices from Windows Vista/Server 2008 computers, you should allow remote access to the PnP interface on those computers. You can do it via modifying the policy as described in this article: URL
