I'm interested where USB Devices Database is stored. It's not in the SQL Server.
When I add a USB device from a computer where DeviceLock Enterprise Manager is installed the same USB device doesn't appear on another computer where I manage clients via Group Policy. Ho can I export/import this database? Another issue: When I add a device in the White List, and then I edit the name of the device in USB Devices Database it doesn't change in USB Devices White List. Thank you. |

You can save a current database to an external file. To do it, press the Save button, then select the type of the file —.txt or .csv.
To load a previously saved database, press the Load button and select a file that contains the list of devices. To learn more on USB Devices Database you can refer to User Manual (see ch. 5.4.2.3.1): http://protect-me.com/dl/DeviceLock%20Manual.pdf *WhiteList issue This is a normal behaviour. You should change device name before adding it to the WhiteList. |

What if I have a large network with lots of USB devices in the USB devices Database?
I manage this database from only one computer. What is your experience, how many devices it could hold before slowing down the computer because of large registry file. Thank you. |

No issues with USB Devices Database performance have been reported so far. Anyway, you can always split the database into different files, and this could make it easier to manage it. |
