Hi, I'm currently deploying the devicelock service to all my computers, but currently do not want any settings to be enforced.
However, I accidently deployed service settings to a large group of machines which tprevents them from using most USB devices. I need to quickly remove any settings on these computers. I created a new policy without modifing any settings and deployed this to the group of effected machines however the settings are not changing? Why would this be? Thanks |

Settings in a Not Configured state will not trump or remove restricted settings. You need to use the Set Default button within the Permission settings for each port/device type to set Full Control which will open use of anything you locked down with your previous policy. |

So if I want to bring devicelock on a computer back to it's original installation state pre any service settings, how can this be done? |

Open your Permissions for each port/device type, click on Set Default, save and deploy the settings to the endpoints. This will provide full access to all ports/device types as if there were never any restrictions configured. |
