Topic: «Access denied. (5)», I Can't install the agent

Hi,I'm a reseller and trying to install the agent on pcs in a workgroup but the error "Access Denied. (5)" appears, please help me because my client need the solution soon.

In a workgroup you should have accounts with same credentials on both machines. Also, make sure that the account on the client machine has local admin rights. |

Check if you are able to establish a connection to the problem PC. Try to connect to it using standard Windows administrative utility "Computer Management" from "Administrative Tools" (for Windows 2000 and later) and make sure your access privileges are not read-only (i.e., try to open any service or start/stop it). For Windows NT computers, you can use the "Event Viewer" utility from "Administrative Tools". If the utility is not able to connect to the computer, then the problem lays in your system settings. |
