Do you run Rsop on your machine or the client?
DeviceLock 7.0./7.1 versions support 64-bit editors.
Isn't there any other policies with DL configuration which could be inherited? |

I ran rsop on the DL Client machine.
Ok, so that means what I am doing is correct in terms of policies. That is possible but what if I only have ONE DL Policy settings GPO? Should it not get all of the settings from that particular machine? I will go through and make sure again, I appreciate the help. |

Ok, I think I get it, RSOP only works on the machine that you use to configure devicelock GPO settings?
Now I just need to figure out why the settings I set are not getting pulled down by the machine that configures the GPO and by the systems running the service. (I have rebooted a lot and see the GPExtension Policy settings being applied, just do not get the settings I set). |

Ok, I think I figured another thing out, the reason some settings were not staying undefined (Devices>Security Settings) is because they have to be configured otherwise they get auto configured. | ||||||

Yes, RSOP can be generated only on the machine with DL consoles installed, since there is no DL GP extension on the client side usually, which is required to obtain DL settings information for RSOP report.
True. By this reason we recommend to configure all DL settings explicitly for the default meaning may vary from the desired condition. |
