Ashot Oganesyan - Chairman of the Board (Founder & CTO)
Born in 1974, Ashot studied Mathematics at Moscow State University of Electronics and Mathematics. He saw the market need and opportunity and created the very first freeware version of DeviceLock software in 1995. He launched the commercial version of the product and founded the company in 1996. Today, with over 66,000 customers and 4 million endpoints deployed worldwide, he coordinates all software development for the company and guides the overall strategic vision and product development roadmap.
Vitaly Shipitsin - Board Member (CEO)
A successful entrepreneur, Vitaly holds an EMBA from Stockholm School of Economics and an undergraduate degree from Moscow Technical University of Telecommunications and Informatics. He was instrumental in the development and growth of “Stels” an importer of high-end designer furniture and cabinetry from European Companies. The founding CEO of DeviceLock, Vitaly has been the company’s primary seed investor since inception and has guided the company through its early growth phase. Vitaly manages worldwide operations, finance and investor relations for the company.
Vladimir Chernavsky - Board Member (Executive Vice President, Americas Operations)
With over 20 years in the software industry, Mr. Chernavsky served as founder and chief executive officer of Kaspersky Labs Customized Solutions, Inc. He also served as Commercial Director of Kaspersky Labs where he was instrumental in building their U.S. business from the ground up. He contributed significantly to Kaspersky becoming the major player that it is today in the IT security market. He holds a Masters Degree in Marketing from Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics in 1998.
Alexei Lesnykh - Board Member (Vice President, Product Strategy & Bus. Dev.)
Helping software startups internationalize and grow their businesses since the mid-90's, Alexei is expert in prod. mgmt. and mktg. in network and endpoint security, public key infrastructure, AIM, and VoIP. As an executive analyst developing product and business strategies for international high-tech companies and VC funds, he spent over five years as Dir. of Prod. Mktg. and Prod. Mgmt. with TrustWorks. He holds an MS CS degree from Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (MIET) in Zelenograd, Russia.
